Roasted Garlic Italian Bread
I loved the Crusty Italian Bread so much that I wanted to make it again but this time I envisioned big chunks of roasted garlic inside. I made this loaf to take to a friends house for dinner and I was excited to see if it turned out like I had envisioned. It turned out better. Each and every slice had at least 1 chunk of roasted garlic in it and the entire loaf had a lovely roasted garlic flavor.

Conference Call Services
A conference call service is a telephone call in which the calling party wishes to have more than one called party listen in to the audio portion of the call. The conference calls may be designed to allow the called party to participate during the call, or the call may be set up so that the called party merely listens into the call and cannot speak. It is often referred to as an ATC (Audio Tele-Conference).
Conference calls can be designed so that the calling party calls the other participants and adds them to the call however, participants are usually able to call into the conference call themselves, by dialing into a special telephone number that connects to a "conference bridge" (a specialized type of equipment that links telephone lines).
Companies commonly use a specialized service provider who maintains the conference bridge, or who provides the phone numbers and PIN codes that participants dial to access the meeting or conference call.
Three-way calling is available (usually at an extra charge) for many customers on their home or office phone line. To three-way call, the first person, who is the one who someone wishes to talk to is dialed. Then the Hook flash button (known as the recall button in the UK and elsewhere) is pressed and the other person's phone number is dialed. While it is ringing, flash / recall is pressed again to connect the three people together. This option allows callers to add a second outgoing call to an already connected call.

Roasted Tomato Caprese Salad
I needed to make a dish to take to a friends house for dinner so I decided to do a caprese salad. Instead of using plain raw tomatoes I decided to roast them. I drizzled really good balsamic vinegar over the tomatoes before plating them with the mozzarella and basil. It was SO DELICIOUS!! I don't think I will make a caprese salad any other way ever again. Simple, quick, beautiful, and delectable

Water & Air
Topshop dress, Kate Spade bag
If I were to nominate a certain year as the busiest time of my life, I guess it would be 2011. If I were to also nominate a certain year where I learned, improved and matured a lot, it would also be 2011. Huge things are happening in my life, and I cannot be more thankful to Allah for drilling me in His very own hard way.
I need some air to breathe though, so I've decided to cut down my activities. I will only be focusing on Up and a new business, and I guess I'll skip any new events or projects except ones I have committed to. I just wanna take things easy...:)
Btw, Dashboard Confessional is my favorite band. Just saying.

Spicy Herbed Egg, Tomato, and Bacon Biscuit Sandwich
Yum, yum, yum. That's all I can think while typing this post. We had leftover biscuits and bacon from breakfast recently so I decided to use them to make an egg sandwich for lunch. I sprinkled the egg with some cayenne pepper, sea salt, and freshly cracked pepper then added a bit of fresh chives and thyme. I loved the flavor of the herbs on the spicy egg with the salty bacon and the fresh tomato

All movement in Celestia is seamless; the exponential zoom feature lets you explore space across a huge range of scales, from galaxy clusters down to spacecraft only a few meters across. A 'point-and-goto' interface makes it simple to navigate through the universe to the object you want to visit.
Celestia is expandable. Celestia comes with a large catalog of stars, galaxies, planets, moons, asteroids, comets, and spacecraft. If that's not enough, you can download dozens of easy to install add-ons with more objects.
The application can be configured for addition, subtraction and multiplication. The number ranges can be configured, and the grid size can also be configured to suite your preference. Only the most important configuration variables are shown by default, the remainder being configurable by selecting the "ShowAll" toggle in the Administrator control panel.
There are no more user accounts, or separate administrator account. The data-recording functionality has also been removed in the interest of simplicity. The countdown timer is still there, however, to keep kids focused.

Artichoke Bruschetta
I recently made a French Baguette and decided to make a fun dinner of Greek Bruschetta and this artichoke bruschetta for my kids and I. I loved the marinated artichokes with fresh basil, grape tomatoes, and Parmesan cheese on the crispy baguette - the combination was fantastic! Simple, quick, and tasty... my kind of dinner.Artichoke Bruschetta:Recipe and photos by For the Love of Cooking.net12 oz

Greek Bruschetta
My husband was out of town last weekend so my kids and I were on our own. We rented movies after playing in the park on Friday afternoon and came home to a house smelled of freshly baked bread. I decided to do a fun dinner for us using the French Baguette I baked earlier in the day. I made two different types of bruschetta (I will post the other one tomorrow). We had a nice evening eating with

How's everyone doing? I'm still on holiday but too lazy to update this blog. Hahaha. And I've got so many things to tell. Where do I begin?
First, I'm officially graduated from high school! I can't call myself a high school student anymore I guess. Going to miss all of those moments but honestly I feel free. I can't wait to start a new chapter of my life. So excited for university life!
Second, I'm thinking of making an online shop, selling all of my clothes which I won't wear anymore, with a very affordable price. One question: Will you buy my clothes?
Third, I finally got my first dog! After 16 years of living, finally I have a dog. It's a small chihuahua, I love her so much. I'll surely post some pics of her in the future time.
Fourth and last, I just did a small surgery. Can't tell right now, but it's no big deal. And I also did some make-overs. It's a brand new me! Hahaha.
So that's it. Hope I don't bore you with all of the writings. Thank you for those of you who have been kind enough to visit and leave comments on this blog. Have a great week you all!

French Baguette
I was in the mood for fresh bread so I baked a French baguette. The bread was super easy to make (thanks to my bread machine) and it smelled perfectly delicious while baking in the oven. I have a feeling I will be using this recipe again and again.French Baguette:Adapted recipe and photos by For the Love of Cooking.netOriginal recipe by Allrecipes.com1/2 cup of warm water1/2 tsp salt1 1/2 tsp

Turkey Italian Sausage and Cheese Tortellini Soup and GIVEAWAY WINNER
Since it was a cold and rainy day today I decided to make a big pot of soup. The Italian sausage really gave the soup a nice flavor and made the broth extra rich and delicious. I loved the combination of flavors and textures in this soup. I think this may be one of my new favorite soups... it was so good!Turkey Italian Sausage and Cheese Tortellini Soup:Recipe and photos by For the Love of

I am only flesh and blood...

Eureka
If I had a F.A.Q corner this one might be the most frequently asked question by email from babalisme readers: "How do I create a professional looking, coordinating party decoration without spending much money/creating much DIY crafts?".
Fair enough, I think, most of party decorations demolished or even perished/lost/damaged in less than 12 hours after the party started. So, no one wants to really invest much time or money or effort in creating decorations, right? You know how fast party balloons gone? They're quite affordable, thankfully. But here is a little trick to boost extra "oooomphs" and generate extra "aaaawwws" to your party without breaking any bank account: Use cupcake topper ANYWHERE. Yes, I mean it, anywhere. These little dudes are usually easy to make and affordable as well. And..they are so versatile in terms of shapes and wording they can be used anywhere. Here are some of my ideas :
the cupcake topper "modeled" here is free, get it here if you haven't.
I may set the font too small to read so here are what's actually written there :
- as a cupcake topper, doh!
- as a party garland
- as a favor tag
- as a lunchbag name tag
- as a lollipop or party straw label
Do you have any ideas on how to make your cupcake toppers work real hard at a party? Or even after the party? Do share with us!

Blueprint Emporium - Day 2
It's a wrap! Yayyyyyyyy! Such an awesome experience to be a part of this event...thank you so much to the people of Blueprint for the opportunity! :)
I'm so thankful that the people I met in Singapore here were so nice and friendly...knowing that I was carrying 60 kg of stuff, everything felt so light and easy as I got helped by so many people along the way...and I got the best booth-neighbors! Seriously friendly people...:') At the end of the day, I traded a pair of my Up shoes for a skirt from the booth in front of me hahah...thanks, Saloni! :)
My personal favorite brands that took part in this event are: Belle Sauvage, Mae Pang, Revasseur, L'ile Aus Ashby and Bangkok Smiths!
As much as I'd love to take more pictures of the overall event, it really was difficult to as I couldn't really leave my own booth...and even when I did manage to take some snaps of a particular booth, the owner got upset and asked me to stop taking pictures of her products hehehe...soweeeeee ;p

Just a part of word
What can be said today,
That's not been said a thousand times?
The new day is come, the old day go,
We know we dream, we dream we know.
We rise up laughing with blog
We lie down cry with the blog.
We write the words until dizzy,
We curse it then and sigh for wings.
We live, we love, we hate, we cry,
We have anything here , .
We want you feel it too

Land Coffee
..a.k.a Kopi Darat a.k.a Meet Up with some bloggers at Royal Plaza Surabaya, May 15 2011.
Met the creative Amelia Saga, accompanied by her sister. They came from Tulungagung for this meet up! Waooowwww... Thanks for coming! :D BTW Amel wore a cute DIY owl brooch.
Mbak Yuni and Aishi Lely, they were junior high school friends. Mbak Yuni came from Sidoarjo, and Aishi lely from Tanjung Pinang!!!
And there were mbak Elsa (from Jombang) accompanied by her sister, Nona. Ooops sorry Nona i only had this picture when you're not in a good pose >.<
Had a fun and noisy chit chat for about 3 hours at "good friends great pizza". Nona had a hidden plan. She made us fill her questionnaire task!! Hahahaha...
It's so great to meet the 'real person' of bloggers we'd only known online :)
By the end of our meet up, Amel gave us brooches she made herself :) Thank youuuuuu... And thank you mbak Elsa for the food! Read the full article on mb.Elsa's blog (btw the 1st and last picture above are hers) ^^

What I wore:
I wore my new purple hijab, sent by Bunda Key from Rumah Jilbab.
It has 3 layered colors from chiffon (I don't know the real material name), and surprisingly the hijab is easy to wear & not see-through. Thank you Bunda Key!
Purple brooch from Luchie.
and in and out of weeks ..
where the wild things are still
....and almost over a month I abandon this blog. *sob* Currently in high summer holiday mood, so I spent much time running barefoot in the garden with Baby G, spraying water hose. I don't know , I kinda avoid anything high tech during summer. Also the fact that Baby G will start her first real school without me *gasp* terrify me a bit. You know, how much I will miss her during those 2 hours everyday?
anyhoo..
Unable to meet my nautical holiday dream, I am currently mesmerized over other summer holiday probability: a nice lazy summer afternoon under the trees. Think : Where the Wild Things Are. Rope hammocks and tents are purely a must. Enough with words, let the wild rumpus start with these pics.
