I wish I could speak French, I'd look totally sophisticated and honorable. Sssh, Dream aside, eatdrinkchic provides the best gift tags for you this season. And it's totally free to download and print (praise her!). I love how versatile it is, it can be used as place cards, bookplates, or even toilet directions when you have an open house this season ("bebe" for diaper changing or nursing rooms? Great idea!).

Oh...Bags!
Bags. Something you stroll along with, maybe in your hand, on your shoulder, across your body, or even on your back, to store your belongings that you can't just leave at home. That's my definition, you must not take it too seriously. Bags are definitely much more than I had stated there. They are luxurious, one of a kind, must haves in fashion world known as " designer handbags". Hunted and copied all over the world. Geez. Not all fashion items receive the similar treatment, I think. And since I was born to the lesser part of fashion caste, I love the idea of making your own designer handbags. Such as ..

the notorious printable Kelly...
and this Chanel. Aaah, bless the person who made this. (found via SourCherry)
And speaking of bags, these are the ones I'm currently obsessing about. swoon.

Merry Matryoshkas!
Matryoshka. I spend hours typing that word. Is it right now?
Without further ado...remember the matrysohka pattern I showed you earlier? You don't?? How dare you!! ... You know I'm kidding, you can always go back in time in blogs, so head here if you do forget. I was in a blogger swap, and one of my swap item was previewed there. Since the swap is over, I decide to share with all of you who were not in the swap, my merry matryoshkas gift tag set.
Enjoy everyone, and don't forget to share back what you've enjoyed. You don't have to have a blog and post about it, just a simple Flickr upload, or email me the photo will make my day. :)
Have a nice weekend.
*update* From now on all my printables will stay forever on the net! Tell me which of my previous printables you're craving about (just click freebies on the category on your right hand side) and I will share them again, eternally!

Weekend Embroidery
Got nothing to do this weekend and still no plans in your agenda (...boy, do I envy you!)?
For embroidery enthusiast, may I present you, my first embroidery pattern. Of course, keep in mind that I don't embroider myself, so when you're stitching up and down and find an obstacle which could be my fault, please give me feedbacks and criticism. Don't hesitate to use your meanest, harshest words in complaining, I really look forward to provide better pattern here.
Just click on the image, it'll sure take you to the biggest view, save, and print. If you need color reference, you can always look at this one, but you're welcome to alter it in anyway you like. If you feel like selling your tea towels/bags/clothing/socks/etc that containing the embroidery, you are most welcome, but please don't sell the pattern itself, it's free! If you are not satisfied with this pattern and on the lookout to something better, you can always check Penguin&Fish and doe-c-doe daily. Don't forget to let me know about your finished products and the inputs too!

Earth Day Pledge!
I don't think I care for the earth enough, the evidence is clear, I am spending my entire day in front of the computer instead of planting trees or recycling my trash. I am trying to be more care though. I try to use less plastic bags, if I do, I use biodegradable ones. I try to spend less time in the shower. I switch off unnecessary lights and other electronic appliances. I charge my cell if I really need too (believe it or not I used to let the phone attached to the charger all day!! Hang me to die with those charger cords!).
To help you people saving the earth while living your daily life, I know you're trying as much as I do, even more, maybe, here's a quick pledge page for you to print. It's a good activity to share with the kids too, add some more doodles and drawings, and put it on the fridge to look at everyday.
Happy Earth day, everyone!

This Weekend...
I'll just stay at home and read some books I haven't got a chance to read for long time. It's raining too. Looks like it's going to rain all day. *sigh*
Oh, looks like Terry the Tiger cub is doing the same thing as I am! Feel free to take him home with you. I think Terry looks good as a recipe card, a kid's book label, or a lunch bag's label. Did I mention how Terry loves his stripy sweater?
Grab, print, reproduce, and share. Happy weekend, everyone!

Easter Gift Tags Printables is Here!
I am not really healthy at this time, (thank you for all of you wishing me better soon!), so here's my Easter printable, quite different from what I have planned, but I hope all my dear readers will love it. Fell free to download here, share, craft, and do anything with it, even sell it, maybe, but be a dear and send me a link to your creations using these gift tags, you don't have to post it on your blog, a flickr link or an email would make my day.
Earlier, my so called Easter craft plans including some Easter rabbit puppets, Easter paper game, and Easter build up paper diorama (hello, big dreamer!), but due to my condition and very limited time (my deadlines are still endless despite the holiday and my sickness, unfortunately), I just have the strength to do a set of gift tags. *boo-hoo* I know, I know, it's lame, so hate me, throw rocks at me, and dump my body at the sewer.
Nevertheless, making up for my weakness I'll share with you a list of things to do/craft this easter. Obviously, these ladies did their homework better than mine, so please visit them.

- make an artwork, yes, YOU make the artwork. You can do it by following sarahjane's easy step by step.
- make a "baglets" and print them pretty ala Jessica from howaboutorange.

The Clovers Finger Puppet Printable!
Happy St. Patricks day everyone!
I know I'm not Irish and not celebrating this holiday but, hey, it's always nice to have an excuse to celebrate something! To celebrate the day (and feeling extra lucky today) I'm giving you a free printable of mr. and ms. Clover here, and boy, they love to dance, so print them while it's hot and slip them through your fingers (they are not on the net forever, boys and girls!).
I love to make finger puppets, it brings me back to my kindergarten days. I was always putting this and that to my puppets and I remember making a lion once, I put many color shredded papers for his mane, some ruffled strings (I can't fine straight one) for its whisker, some beads because it came from Africa (my logic was poor, I know), and finally dabbing my crayons all over the puppets to illustrate fur. My kindergarten teacher said to me, in a Simon Cowell kind of tone, "It's a little over the top, don't you think? Why don't you just color it with crayon like your friends?" Well, I'm glad I didn't.
So, if you're unfamiliar with finger puppets, try my Clover for your initiation, next time, you can make your own. Here's how to ...

- Cut along carefully until all white spaces are gone, yes, including 2 holes on each Cloverboy/girl.
- Slip your fingers (usually your pointer and middle one) and make them walk, run, or dance! If you think you have smaller or bigger finger diameter than the holes I provided, before you print remember to adjust the pdf files first.
- The hats and ribbons are their accessory. Slit the white line on top of their faces and slip the accessory's gray space behind. Voila.

Watch your back, Agyness!
If the center of fashion hasn't moved yet, last time I check it was Paris, France. Even their child's fashion magazine is sooo fashionable, in a Paris kinda way, of course. And look at these adorable models, they are so good at posing, I think they are re-sizing Gemma and Agyness with photoshop. So here's a little indulgent for your fashion sense to decorate your desktop. Warning : if you're a 50 years old guy and happens to feel really excited looking at these, please look for help, immediately.

Free Art
Too good to be true? Nope. Indie Fixx has just launched this cool project that based on the, what else, crumpling economy, for artists to share their works, online, absolutely free. It's called Feed Your Soul: the free art project. All you need is a good frame, decent paper, and a printer, voila, you get an artwork to hang, if possible maybe 2 or 3 artworks per day.
Why am I so excited about this? Well as an unstably paid, independent artist, struggling to earn a penny, I know how difficult it is to get your works noticed and appreciated, let alone getting your works pay for your lunch. So I really really appreciated someone like Indie Fixx who channels artists and viewers in a low cost, easy way, unlike those big names galleries flooded with snob critics and curators. Let's say, it's a chance to be known, and I, as a part of the big artists society, thank Indie for the chance.

That's my artist's point a view. As an art enthusiast with limited budget, I also like to hang good art on my wall, and what's not to love about this project.
So go on, if you're an artist and you want to contribute, read all the how-to here. Can wait to download your own piece of art, visit here. What are you waiting for?

- Snap snap with the scissors. The gift tags are made in pairs, front and back side, keep the pair together.
- Glue your pairs together. Punch the holes, attach to your gifts, tie with ribbons.

Fantastic Toys, literally!
Meet Fantastic Toys who made really fantastic toys! My, he's really talented! All of his stuff have taken me back when chewing gum was a big matter, blowing it into a bubble was definitely a bigger matter, when holding a stick of a lollipop was heaven, and when all you need in the world is a white pony with pink mane. You'll be amazed at numerous things he creates, a certain little girl's wonderland, and aren't we all little girls inside?

Too Late for Advent Calendar? Not this one.
Non dairy Diary's blog is a cheerful, cute, and nostalgic one. Her illustrations are often child-like and sometimes folksy. I just stumbled upon the blog recently and my, am I regretting that! That means I missed a series of tiny houses advent calendar to make my own! Just look at them! Can you resist?
There are total 25 of the lovely little houses with different design. Here are my ideas for those who are dying to make this house but can't wait till next Christmas to come;
- Any birthday coming right up? How old is the birthday boy/girl? 4? Then print and sculpt the number 4 house. Too bad anyone older than 25 can enjoy this gift.
- Are you a kindergarten teacher or homeschooling your little ones? Have joy in learning numbers with these babies.
- Make them and align them in your work desk, kitchen table, or book shelf. What for? Cuteness overload.
For more ideas visit Non dairy Diary.
Have fun!
