Cocomomo and Me :D

Alhamdulillaaah!! Yeaayyyy i won the Cocomomo giveawayyy *dancing*
I've been eyeing on their product since about one year ago. I'm curious to have one, to touch the feel of the product, but it's quite pricey for me (well, Cocomomo used real leather so the price is actually worth the quality). Finally the time has come!!! I'm having one Cocomomo's product!! \(^o^)/
Excuse my sleepy face. Actually i feel happy! Heheheh.

I've been inspired by the owner, mbak Ayang, since i first read her blog (when i fall in love to a blog, I'd read the story from the beginning hehehe). It's about when she become unemployed, feeling afraid of what will come next, having no money, and then started to find out her passion. She loves to create. And as she poured her heart into her creations, her brand got bigger & got lots of love. Now you can find the products at Grand Indonesia, Jakarta.

Review:
Verryyy neat sewing
Good packaging (makes you happy since the first you received the package, open it, and see what's inside)
Good material

Me likey! :D Thanks mba Ayang!!!

Design Competition and Vannara Giveaway

UPDATE: kuis-nya diperpanjang sampe 31 Maret 2011!!
*pas banget, belom sempet ngumpulin, wekekeke :p*

In this not-so-young age, it's hardly to find a design competition :P If there is any, we must compete with the pro's. Then I got an info...
My past office, Vannara, held some giveaways (it's their birthday event). Vannara is a muslimah clothing line, made by comfortable cotton & modest designs. Some ways to get free clothes:
1. Tell them your daily style (fave colors, hijab style, fave accessories, etc) including your picture. 10 winners will be chosen to get free clothes & bag.
OR
2. DESIGN an outfit based on cotton, which captures the tagline "The Colors of Simplicity". 2 winners will get Rp 150.000, free clothes (the real version of your design), & free bag.

Send your entry to info@vannara.com before March 15, 2010. You are free to join one or two categories.
Source of picture: Vannara
PS: Because I worked there, I find myself too shy to join the 1st category, hehehehehehehe b'coz the judges were my bosses :P But I'll tryyyyyyyyy
Let's join and try some luck (^o^)v
PS2: Hurryyyyy, a week left :D

Best Comments of The Harem Pants Post

Salaam :) How are you doing? Actually I'm not in a good mood for blogging hehehe... Wanna share a lot of  things but don't wanna spend more time in front of computer -__-" eughh

Um, from the Harem Pants Post, I've got 3 best comments :)
1st: TOO BAD she is ANONYMOUS!! @_@

I LOVE harem pants- and I think you've got the attitude to carry them off! I would suggest a more fitted top that ends at your waist, and maybe a cropped or shorter jacket/cardigan for modesty. That would balance the voluminous proportions of the harem pants. Also, gladiator sandals and ballet flats (if you're taller) or strappy heels( if you're not!) work well with this look. Have fun wearing them!
>> Reading this comment boosts my confidence hehehe :] and I guess what she suggest is sort of my style ^^

2nd: Fitri Aulia from Kivitz

kalo akuuuuu, aku suka yg ke 3 sih. warna cardinya udah cucok skali. ga usah takut dgn warna gonjreng. cuma sayang kurg panjang sedikit aja sih cardinya. enaknya sampe tutupin bagian bokong, hehe.. maaf ya kalo ada kata2ku yg kurg berkenan. Salam :)

>> Awww thanks for reminding me to be covered up properly, dear ;)

3rd: Cik Hannah Afia from http://alfafea.blogspot.com/

Salaam. Firstly, those pants are gorgeous! :DD Umm, how about wearing a nude colored button down shirt (plain) tucked in, topped of with a sleeveless drapey vest, maybe in white? And black pumps & black socks? Kind of an office suit but also kind of casual coz of the pants.. And a plain dark brown hijab, perhaps? :X
>> Aha! Drapey vest is a cute idea :D

So, given the answers, probably the look will be like this or that ^^
And this is the prize for Fitri Aulia. A drawing of you. Sorry for the lame painting hehehee.
BTW she has a great style and still being modest :)

For Cik Hannah Afia, I'll be waiting for your picture (been commenting on ur blog but maybe u haven't read it). For Anonymous, so sorryyyy since you're anonymous I can't contact you and anyone claiming to be those 'anonymous' wouldn't be accepted :)

Found: a Nice Adv :)

Just watched this advertorial via Ajjah...

"This adv really touched me. of how in relationships, love sometime fades. and you need to do something about it. i mean, of course u love each other but sometimes we are too busy with other things and moving on with our lives and we tend to neglect those small things that keep us close to each other."

Ahhh so true :') Me wanna cry watching this video *am I too sensitive or what?*
Thank you Ajjah for holding a contest...
...so that I have to find my favorite post you made (amongst all of your wonderful reviews and creative DIYs)... then I found this post. Thanks for sharing, Ajjah. Now I post this at my blog so that in future, if I need a remembrance, I could stop and go back to be wise, especially about the meaning of love :)

Love is not just a passive feeling. Love is an action.
---
PS: Visit Ajjah's contest, maybe you have a chance to win Maysaa's head scarf :D And she has a lovely blog, too!
PS (again): heyyy in this advertorial, the woman wears hijab! I hope this could happen to Indonesian advertorial, too :D

White and Black

Salaam :)

1. Thank youuu dear mba Amesh from Dreamesh ^^ I've got my giveaway package today, yayyy!!
She is sooo right when she wrote 'Giant faux pearl necklace'... the necklace is soooo big! But I love it :D

2. Thank you my dearest Mommy who bought me a beautiful loose white blouse and black & white fabric.. ^^
The skirt is actually a sheet of fabric (not yet sewn). And I combined the giant necklace from mba Amesh with smaller necklace to make it longer.

Nowadays there are many designs of blouses that can be worn by muslimahs to go to a party/formal occasion.. But too bad they usually have beautiful details at the chest--that is supposed to be covered... I'm not sure about this white blouse... But I think the front pleated details can be somehow a shape shifter... hmmmh what am I talking about?? @_@
