I Was Crazy

...about Pet Society.
You know... a social game in facebook, where you can have a virtual pet and buy clothes and foods and furnitures for them. I had a pet named Lullabella; here she is:
Well, as you see, I've already used the name "Tealovecoffee" (now I think it's a stupid name because of wrong grammar,, hahaha.... it must be "tea-loveS-coffee"... hey hey why am I writing about my nickname, this post is supposed to tell the world about my Pet-Society-Craziness -_-")

My pet was poor, I had to visit all my neighbor everyday and join race to get money. Then I found the forum of Pet Society. That's when my craziness started. I found out many users held giveaways or contests. They wanted their pet to be drawn, or they wanted people making them a cute avatar. And I wasted my time drawing and scanning and editing --> I supposed to work on my final project at early 2009.

I won the drawing contests a few times, and my pet got many luxury items---which I sold to get much money. And the game became uninteresting anymore coz my pet was already rich. My boredom made me stop playing, and voila, I finished my Final Project :D

Here's a few of my creations ;) do enjoy them, as I spent much of my time making all those paintings beautiful.

An Avatar I made [using CorelDraw], won the first prize (the pet owner loved what I made) ;D

Won the costume design contest [I created the Balinese costume using Corel]. Look at the details... how could I spent my time working on such details like that -___-"

A painting I made, I got a bath tub and kitchen set hahahaha [painted by hand, scanned, and colored using Photoshop]

Another painting I made, got the luxurious rare item: Piano [painted by hand, scanned, and colored using Photoshop]

Another painting I made, I really love it, so neat :) And the pet owner loved the painting, too ^o^ [painted by hand, scanned, and colored using Photoshop, background details: brushes from Deviantart]

Comic Strips I Love

In order of appearance at the pict above:

  1. Kobo Chan by Masashi Ueda (and lately Ueda published new comic "Otoboke")
  2. Benny & Mice comics, appear in Kompas Newspaper & Tamtomo blog
  3. My Milktoof by Inhae, story of 2 little teeth :) Inhae made all her props and captured them into stories. You'll be amazed seeing the artwork.
  4. Locomostrip, made by an Indonesian student. His tagline is "One comic strip a day" so everyday you can check back for new strip :D
  5. Being Five, stories of a 5 yo boy who blogs... Pretty cute ;p
I can be happy just by reading them :p

What's Your Emoticon?

Assalamu alaykum.
Hehehe... Saturday night at home... Boring.. Let's play Emoticon! Nah, actually this is not a game. I've just challenged myself to mimic some emoticons (from Yahoo Messenger)
Sooooo.... tadaaaa...
Oh no. Why I did such a stupid thing like this.

[Now I challenge you to do this. The best one will be featured on my blog----hahaha, is it great or not? Ummm.. I guess it's not that great, Tia :p]

While surfing, I found a nice blog: Sisterswhoblog. The owner, Ambermisk, reviews some of muslimah's blogs of certain topics & interests.
And I was featured there!! ooohhh thank youuuu Ambermisk ^o^

Random post: Owl, rose, and sakura

Yayyy!! I got 2 owl necklace from my sweet cousin!!! ^o^ thank youuuu sis!!! I plan to make her 1,5 years old daughter a fashion blog, hahaha. Baby fashion blog!!

My new owls!

And I made this two white roses (well, I'm in a romantic mood--just kidding!).

The first rose was harder to made than the second one. Which one is more beautiful? Please don't say I am the prettiest one :p

Last night I couldn't sleep...so I played with a sheet of floral fabric:

Wahaha looks like a kimono (a really bad kimono)! My face looks sleepy or kinda drunk (I wasn't drunk, okay). The Japanese scenery was taken from here.
Behind the scene:

Have a nice day, everyone!!

Again, fashion post.

I didn't expect my blog to be a fashion blog. When I first create this blog, I thought, "This is my canvas to pour what's hidden inside my creative brain!". Well, I guess mix & matching clothes are parts of creativity, too :p
1. Denim dress (Gedebage, IDR 15K) + cardigan, wore this for shopping with my mom today
2. Denim dress + sweater + necklace
3. Denim dress + shirt + pillowcase a.k.a sarung bantal (used as Obi, wahahaha)
See? One dress can be mixed into so many style. Love this denim dress! :D

And I'm wasting my time doing the last mix & match. Tadaaaa...

Don't try this at home!! Or people will think that you're a weirdo!

PS: I make a new signature at the corner of my pictures ^_^

Long Time No Post

Sebenernya, 2 minggu terakhir ini aku sedang berlibur ada urusan ke Jakarta-Bandung-Jakarta. Yayyy... Now I'm already home (Surabaya). Welcome to real world again, Tea :)
Now I can blog again.
But I guess no one misses my blog, hehehehe.

Life Lesson:
What you need for a happy day = HAPPY THOUGHTS, even for the worst case scenario.

I am not a huge fans of Twilight Saga, but I know I enjoy the movie sooo much! :D
I had a weird idea to transform my face to a-little-bit-vampire-ish, sooo... tadaaaa....

Hahahaha I just wanna laugh!! It turned out that I look like a member of Kuburan Band...

That Shocking Cardigan

Still remember the DIY Project: Lace Cardigan? Well, I finally had the bravery to wear that shocking pink cardigan.
This is the first time I post my outfit, hehe. Pardon me, I'm far from the word fashionable.

First attempt: Black shirt, black scarf, jeans skirt. My mom yelled: "Why are you wearing those silly cardigan?"
Second attempt: Broken white blouse, black jeans, creme scarf. Just wear them in my room. Going nowhere. No one notice.
Third attempt: Checkered blouse, creme corduroy skirt, creme scarf. WITHOUT the silly ribbon + corsage. Wear them to my mother's office ^_^ My mom didn't complain, yaaayyy!!

DIY Project: Calendar Clutch

Okay, this DIY project was somehow fun :)
You can do it with your little sister :p

  1. Prepare: the cardboard of desk calendar, glue gun, flannel sheet, thin ribbon/rope
  2. Cut the flannel sheet to match the length (as seen on picture 2)
  3. Glue the flannel
  4. Insert ribbon to make a handle
Yeah this thing looks like unwearable, but it's just fun to create something new from unused items, hehe. I had the idea and feel like should do the project right away then, so this is it! :D
Tips: You can add flower brooch or gems or do some modifications to make it looks-more-like-a-clutch.
*The ribbon photoshop brush was downloaded from here. For a tips on using photoshop brushes, visit my article on February :)

Will be off for 3 days :)

I'm going to Jakarta for a job interview. Wish me luck!

O ya, kalo nganggur, cobain deh ke yearbookyourself, huahaha... Di sana secara otomatis fotomu bisa berubah era ke foto jaman dulu. Emang loadingnya agak lama, jadi harus sabar :)

<-- picture of me when I was 6 years old, after yearbookyourself turns me to much more older look hahaha
